Two months ago one of our dogs ripped a tendon in their leg somehow, and it took a $4000 surgery to fix. She's going in for a final checkup from that operation next week. Meanwhile our other dog was out in the yard -- and would up with the same exact condition and is hobbling around on three legs. So we've got to come up with $4000 **again**.
Oh what fun.
Then we've got a horse and a cat that both need to have their gonads removed. That isn't nearly as expensive, but it looks like the vet is getting my paycheck for the foreseeable future.
